G.I. JOE Snake Eyes Action Figure | A Real American Hero

Snake Eyes is one of the most popular G.I. Joe figure from the line begun in 1982. At first a commando operative with a ninja background, he starred with the other Joes, in several comic books and the syndicated cartoon series that aired on television in the 1980s. Snake Eyes is probably one of the most popular action figure from the current line. There has probably been more version than any other figure.

In 1989 the current G.I. Joe design team took a bold step with the character of Snake Eyes and moved the character’s design away from “commando” and firmly into the “ninja” category. The character was given his third redesign since the launch of the “G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero” line seven years earlier sporting a more steam-lined martial arts look. The figure was equipped with a variety of deadly “silent weapons” including a blow gun, sword, and three-sectioned “nunchuck” weapon, in addition to a flash-suppressed UZI. Martial arts were popular once more with the explosion of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles onto toy store shelves and the G.I. Joe team’s original “man in black” was now the team’s premiere ninja. Nearly twenty years later, the design team at Hasbro has elected to revisit this design in the 25 th Anniversary line, giving fans everywhere a reason to once again revisit the store shelves.

Hasbro has done a terrific job of replicating the original character design with an updated flair. The key elements of the original uniform are present—the padded black vest, the silver forearm wraps, the silver “shades”, and the high black boots with the knee pads. Even the sculpted grenades found on the “bicep bands” are present, giving Snakes a few more surprises to drop on anyone in his path. However, in terms of sculpting Hasbro decided to take a few details a step further. There are now sculpted carabineer rings on the figure’s belt, as well as a sculpted sling under the figure’s right arm—a perfect place to hang the figure’s included UZI submachine gun. The original figure had a large earpiece sculpted over the right ear; this detail is now the mount point for the included night vision goggles.

This action figure I'm selling is

1983 Star Wars Imperial Royal Guard action figure

I am selling an original 1983 Star Wars (Return of the Jedi) Imperial Royal Guard action figure in excellent condition. The Royal Guards were the personal protectors of Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars. First formed as the Red Guard for the Republic Senate after Palpatine claimed rumors of corruption in the Senate. They later became the Emperor’s personal guard.

They were handpicked from among the best stormtroopers, and underwent rigorous and grueling training. To keep in fighting form, some were always rotated out on combat missions, so some survived the destruction of the second Death Star. These remaining Guards were chronicled in the graphic novel series Crimson Empire, where they fought for supremacy. They also came back together to protect the clone Emperor in Dark Empire, but one of their own had sabotaged the Emperor’s clones so he would not live long.

The Royal Guard looked to one of the real bad asses of the Imperial troops. The red helmet with the “I won’t take any s---t from you” stare. The robed standing-at-attention stance. Too bad during the movie, they didn't do much except for looking cool .

The figure was released after Return of the Jedi .The red cloth robe was attached at the base of the helmet, with a slit for one arm to come out. Neither the robe nor the cape could be removed – except by wrecking the figure.

Why should you own this figure? Five reasons:

1. Despite their movie inaction, it still looks bad ass.
2. Great red figure for ex-Soviet lovers.
3. Goes great with an Imperial Shuttle.
4. Create a scene where the Guards actually do something, like Grevious’ robot guards in Revenge of the Sith.
5. Way cooler than an Ewok action figure.

2004 Classic MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM RX-78-2 action figure

I am selling a rare Mobile Suit Gundam collectible action-figure, never opened from the box. The figure is approximately 6 inches and carries a bazooka. It is an original product from Bandai and produced in 2004 in limited quantites. It is an excellent item to be in any anime fan's collection.

This action figure is a replica of RX-78-2 Gundam, which is the succesor of the RX-78 Gundam mecha design, first introduced in 1979 by Yoshiyuki Tomino. In Mobile Suit Gundam series, it is a testbed weapon for the Earth Federation, when it falls into the hands of Amuro Ray, the son of a weapons designer, who goes on to pilot it in the Earth Federation's war against the Principality of Zeon.

As the success of Mobile Suit Gundam began the Gundam franchise, this design was the first of many variations in subsequent works. RX-78 Gundam also serves as the iconic symbol of the Gundam franchise and sparked the creation of multiple sequels and spinoffs.
